Flowers

Fairly recently (during lockdown) I’ve started to experiment with still life images, in the main to start with Flowers. Usually these are flowers that my wife has bought for herself, far be it from me to spoil her. This project has enabled me to challenge myself and there’s still a way to go, especially with the backgrounds. The sidelight from the study window covers the subject with soft light and throws a few shadows shadows here and there.

Please click on the images below to view the Gallery. Thanks for looking.

For more specific ‘PROJECTS‘ please selected the Projects link above.

All images are available to buy as * Giclée prints in various sizes from 6″ x 4″ right up to A3 and are mounted on Premium Ivory or Ice White mount board with bevelled edge aperture. Please visit the Prints & Card Sales link above. If you do not see an image in the Shop please use the Contact Link to request a printed copy.

Alternatively if you’d like a framed print or perhaps a canvas wrap, or a digital download of many of my images they can be viewed and bought through my ‘More Products‘ store which is also accessible through the Prints & Card Sales Link

What are * Giclée prints? Read more here.

  • That the printer should use Pigment based ink (as opposed to dye-based), mine is a Canon Pixma Pro 10S
  • The printer should use 8 inks or more, the above printer uses a 10 ink system
  • Fine Art paper should be used and be of archival quality and all are acid free (I use this type of paper with an estimated life of 80 – 100 years )

Thank you for looking.
