Plain Sailing - ICM Project

Plain Sailing – ICM Project is a selection of Intentional Camera Movement images from The Wilson Trophy event.

The Wilson Trophy is widely regarded as the premier team racing event in the world, attracting some of the world’s most skilled exponents of the discipline, and is held annually in May, taking place at the ‘theatre of dreams’ that is West Kirby Marine Lake.

My intention was to portray this event through the use of a photographic technique called ICM – Intentional Camera Movement. This method not only gives the impression of movement but also brings a soft watercolour effect to the images.
