The thought of stepping outside my comfort zone is not one I have often. My preference is usually traditional landscape photography in classic locations. So the opportunity to attend an RPS workshop, this time based in Urban Birmingham, to take urban images was something I needed to try. There are quite a lot of reflection images as well as some more abstract ones to.

Led by Verity Miliigan it was to say the least quite fast paced, we seemed to race from one location to another, chasing the light at times whilst trying to do each location some justice. I was fortunate to be able to stay overnight and head out again the next day to revisit some of the places, although that in itself was challenging due to the harsh morning and noon light.
