Venice is a vibrant and busy city. A mixture of old and less old buildings, back streets and alleyways. Tourists by the millions every year.

All of this presents opportunities for some candid ‘ street’ photography. Please bear in mind Venice – Street is my first try at this genre, so some more practice is needed, especially with getting the focus point right.

Most of these images were taken with the camera at waist height in an effort to capture a random moment in a random place. I’ve deliberately changed these all to black and white in the hope of giving an ‘earthy’ look and feel to the images.
